They added our original crown molding back on and painted our door, walls and ceiling. Everything was done within a few days as estimated. The team also made sure to block off the rest of our rooms so the dust was contained. Our project manager was Ricardo and he kept us updated throughout the project. I appreciated his responsiveness and great attitude. I would not hesitate to have this team work on additional projects at my house.

The sliding bath tube doors make perfect that there is no longer having water spreading to the floor due to shower or bath. The floating sink makes more space under the sink. The final painting and finishing are excellent. Overall, it looks much nicer in the bathroom than before.
Bob L2023-10-27Had a fantastic experience working with Alcantara! Marcelino was a great GC who was always upfront and informative about the tasks at hand. We were so impressed with their services that we asked to work with them for some additional work after the initial project was completed. The project involved redoing our kitchen and bathroom. We used a 3rd party to design and purchase the items through them and relied on Marcelino and his team to demo and install the new fixtures, cabinets and appliances! Although there were hiccups along the way (something to expect when it comes to any renovation work), Marcelino ensured that issues were had were addressed promptly. Marcelino was upfront during our initial walkthrough quote and gave an accurate timeframe when the project could be completed. The second phase involved the installation of some recessed lights which was completed within 1-2 weeks. Very happy with the results! There were some minor issues after the project's completion but after mentioning these concerns Marcelino had his team stop by our place with a very quick turnaround time to address our concerns. Overall Marcelino and his team were professional and respectful of our property (made sure to cover our exposed furniture during the painting/demolition phases). Their price was also reasonable for the Boston area. I would strongly recommend Alcantara for any renovation projects you may have! We would use them again for any future projects we may have planned.

Adrienne J.11. July, 2023Alcantara gutted and rebuilt my kitchen and 1.5 baths and added a mudroom onto my 1930's Colonial. Their crew was professional and respectful of my home. Most notably, they were there every day working. I have been hearing horror stories of contractors just disappearing mid job. Not these guys. My father, an architect, carpenter and retired contractor, was genuinely impressed with the quality of their craftsmanship. We had requested estimates from a number of contracting teams, and decided to award the job to the Alcantara team as they were responsive, listened closely to our needs, and gave great advice about options that we could move forward with. Marcelino supervised our entire project and it was a pleasure to be working with him through each part of our kitchen update - even when things had to be adjusted along the way, he was very thoughtful in explaining the situation and the recommended options that we could choose from. The Alcantara team were extremely tidy and took care of our home very well throughout the whole process, and our new kitchen looks fabulous and much more functional than it was before. Our project was completed on time, within budget, and we will call them again when we have another home renovation planned.
Jeff R.17. April, 2023I would highly recommend Alcantara based on our experience contracting them to remodel a very small bathroom in our home, adding a shower. I reached out on Yelp and Marcelino came to look at the space at a scheduled time, went over the details of what we wanted and provided a comprehensive estimate. We were picky and had chosen most of our finishes in advance from places that I don't think they typically use, but that was easily accommodated and worked into the quote. We planned a start date in advance and the crews started right on time. The workers were all very professional, friendly and discreet. The quality of the work is very good, everything turned out just how we wanted it to. All inspections went smoothly, and the project was finished in exactly 3 months. Alcantara was a great group to work with and I would definitely use them again!
